I don’t believe that fitness is just that thing I do for an hour sometimes. Fitness is part of who I have become. Health is the benefit of my fitness. Living life as fully as I can is the benefit of my health and fitness.

10 years ago, when I was well over 350 lbs, in a potentially deadly abusive relationship, deeply depressed and almost certain that it was my destiny to live that way…if you had said to me that I would feel the way I feel now, that I would be blessed enough to have some really wonderful friends and that I would love and be loved by the most generous, caring, honorable and courageous man, I would have said something along the lines of “yeah, right.”  I am constantly reminded of how far I have come in just 10 short years, after 40+ years of sitting on the sidelines watching life go bPastel Floraly, because I was not healthy enough to live it.

I wasn’t living, I was simply existing.

Life is meant to be lived and to be lived fully, not just half way.  Do you find yourself sitting and watching your children, wishing that you could play with them, but you don’t have the energy to do so?  Are you living your life, or are you simply existing as life passes you by.

Being fit isn’t about being skinny, it’s about being healthy, being strong, being able to breathe when you walk farther than 10 steps, or up a flight of stairs.  10 years ago, I couldn’t walk up a flight of 12 steps, I had to go up on my knees.  10 years ago…wow, it seems like it was just yesterday and at the same time it feels like it was a lifetime ago.

Where do you want to be in 10 years? Or 5 years or even 2 years? Where are you going with your life?

The clock is03-08-14 clocks forward ticking, time is passing by.

Please reach out to me today and let’s work together so that not one more minute goes by with you being stuck where you don’t want to be.  I’m here….all you have to do is reach out.

xoxo
